2. Thank you for your interest in our memorial tree program. This program allows groups and individuals to purchase a tree to memorialize or celebrate a family member or friend. Trees purchased through the program will be planted in city parks or along city trails. Once the tree is planted, you will receive a certificate and a map showing the location of the tree and the recipient's name will be placed on a commemorative plaque at the Branson Community Center. Tree selection and location will be chosen and sited by Parks staff to best fit the park environment. The cost is $300.

    I acknowledge all Memorial Trees will be planted in the spring and fall months and that species and variety will vary based on location and terrain. Parks staff will chose and site the tree to best fit the park environment. The City will replace trees only if they do not survive their first year. Once planted, all trees become part of the City's park system. Personal decorations or plaques require approval. A limited number of trees are planted each year to ensure proper planting and care.
