Elected to the Board of Aldermen in April 2021, Ruth Denham is currently retired but served in local government her entire career.
Alderman Denham moved to Branson in 1994, graduated from high school in Downey, California and attended the University of Redlands in Redlands, California. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management at Southwest Missouri State University.
Alderman Denham has served as Deputy City Clerk in California, Assistant Director of Planning and Development in Texas, Human Resources Director at Taney County and spent almost fourteen years as the Assistant Director of Planning and Development at the City of Branson.
Alderman Denham has served on the Board for Branson Tri Lakes Human Resources Association, 7th District Federated Republican Women and Taney County Federated Republican Women.
Alderman Denham and her husband, Brian, have 3 children and 6 grandchildren, all of whom live in the Branson area.
