Branson Fire Fighters go Above and Beyond for Family after Vehicle Fire

Fire Department

A Kansas family is thanking the Branson Fire Department for their kindness after a vehicle fire left the family with two small children stranded on Roark Valley Road and Main Street.

Branson Fire Division Chief Randy Fogle was off duty recently when he noticed the family on the side of the road and stopped to make sure they were okay. Once Chief Fogle made sure everyone was safe, he proceeded to make sure the Wright family had everything they needed to get to where they were going. He even called in another firefighter to tow the Wright family’s camper when the family couldn’t find a tow truck.

In an email, Michele Wright wrote, “Thank you isn’t near enough…I wasn’t sure how we were going to take care of everything. However, there you were, willing to help in any way you could…My husband was beyond stressed by the events that had unfolded and you calmed him more than I thought would have been possible…Within a few hours of the fire, we were at our campsite putting things away so we could enjoy the rest of our weekend getaway…all thanks to the amazing work you did and the kindness shown by you and the firefighter that towed the camper.”

This kind of customer service and personal attention is not unique to this one incident and is indicative of all City of Branson employees. Branson firefighters are always looking for opportunities to help residents and tourists in any way possible. Branson firefighters urge anyone who needs assistance to call 911.
